Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of tradition. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them INSPIRATION PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated Grandparents Day on Wednesday,21 December,2022.
Grandparents Day was organised by classes 1 & 2. The programme began with the auspicious 'Lightning of the Lamp' accompained by live prayer to Goddesss Saraswati. The class 2 welcomed everyone with a beautiful song. Many power packed dance performances and skit based on Kumaoni and Punjabi Culture by students left the spectators spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. On this day various games were organised for grandparents. All the grandfathers took part in Musical Ring Game where the positions were on 1-Mr. N.C.Bora, 2- Mr. J.C Podalia and3- Mr. Sheram. And In The Ball Game where the postions were on 1-Reshmat Siddiqui and Dr. Gyan Chand, 2- Mr. Krishnanand Mehtolia and 3-Mr. Kunvar Singh Chauhan. And all thegrandmothers took part in Target Ring Game where the positions were on 1- Mrs. Kamla Devi, 2- Mrs.Rekha Rautela and 3- Mrs. Parvati Arya. And In Passing the Parcel where the positions were on 1- Mrs. Kusum Losiyali, 2- Mrs. Sita Valdia and 3-Mrs. Poornima Bajpai. And In Target the Basket the positions were on 1-Mrs. Munni Kandpal, 2-Mrs. Dhuma Devi and 3-Mrs. Leela Tiwari .
Chairperson Dr. Geetika Balutia , Principal Mr. Anurag Mathur , Vice -Principal Mrs. Mamta Taneja and Coordinator Mrs. Priyanka Bajpai Sharma addressed the gathering and encouraged the students for scillanting performances for their grand parents. The programme was conducted by the teacher Mrs. Rita Rathore and Mrs. Damini Kapoor. The success of the event was evident by Music teacher Mr. Sanjay Goswami, Mr. Mohit Pant, Ms. Aditi Joshi , Dance teacher Ms. Ankita Chowdhry, Sports teacher Mrs. Pallavi Rawat, Mr. Vijay Pandey, Mr. Ankit Rai, Art teacher Mrs. Neeru Joshi Goyal and Mrs. Richa Verma. Grandparents shared some mesmerizing moments and relived their childhood with the grandchildren. The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles and teary eyes of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them. All the teachers and students were present in the programme.
