Description:
On 14th November, Children's Day was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the school. The teachers prepared a special morning assembly to show their affection to children. The assembly started with the prayer 'Teri Hai Zameen' which was sung by a choir of teachers followed with pledge by Mr. Summet Das, speech by Ms. Nisha Kandpal, poem by Ms. Mamta Taneja song 'Itti si Hasi' by Ms. Madhumita Das and Mr. Robin Arya and 'Oonche Neeche Raste' by Mr. Mukesh Tiwari. Aerobics were led by Ms. Ayushi, Ms. Pallavi, Ms. Indra Joshi and Ms. Deepika Bisht. In the end Principal sir, Mr. Surinder Arora wished and blessed the children with his gracious words. Children were excited to see their teachers in this new role. Children were pampered with chocolates.The programme was anchored by Ms. Anshu Chauhan. Later in the day, recreational activities for all classes along with inter house basketball and volleyball tournaments were also conducted. Blue house defeated green house in basketball and yellow house defeated green house in volleyball. All teachers contributed their bit to make the children feel special on this occasion.
