Description:
Harela is one of the most auspicious festivals of Kumaon region. It is celebrated every year on the first day of Shravan.
It was celebrated very enthusiastically in Inspiration Public School on 15th July 2022. A special assembly was organised by class 12-A, which incorporated the blessings in the form of the kumaoni song 'Jee Raya Jag Raya'. They also depicted the way in which it is celebrated in kumaoni families.
Harela seeds were sown by the kids of class I & II a week prior on 7 July.
The festival gives a message of planting more and more trees and conserve the environment.
The Principal, Vice Principal and all teachers graced the occasion.
