Vedic maths Course has been introduced as a system of ancient times for Mathematics which are based on Atharvaveda.
Inspiration Public School organised a session on Vedic maths on 21st and 22nd of January on zoom for classes VI, VII and VIII.
With classes, VI and VII techniques of Vedic Maths were discussed. How to get the squares of a number ending with 5. Division done using auxiliary fraction method.
With class VIII GSP was discussed, a software by which we can prove and verify the geometrical concept. Interior and Exterior angles of polygons were discussed along with the concept of pie. The introductory part on what Vedic maths is and16 sutras of Vedic maths was also told to the students of classes VI and VII.
It was an interactive session and a compilation of knowledge and Vedic studies. The session helped children in making intelligent decisions to both simple and complex problems.
Vedic maths reduces the burden of memorizing difficult concepts
and increases the concentration of a child and his/her determination to learn and develop his/her skills.
