Description:
The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at IPS, Kathgodam. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by Mrs Geetika Balutia Chairpert, Principal Anurag Mathur , accompanied by the Vice Principal Mrs. Mamta Taneja.
Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland.
A plethora of activities were organised to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students. The cultural celebrations were; dance, music and talks by the students. Listening to and singing patriotic songs by children and teachers, triggered in the children and teachers alike, many emotions; pride, love and respect for the country. Inter house Dance Competition was also the part of the event in which all the houses Yellow, Blue, Green and Red participated. All the group did wonders and performed beautifully. Red house bagged third position, whereas Second position was bagged by two: Green and Blue and Yellow house was the winner. They were appreciated and awarded by Chairperson Ma’am, Principal Sir and Vice Principal Ma’am.
