Children's Day reminds us of the birth of Pt Nehru, the country's first Prime Minister. This day was celebrated in Inspiration with great enthusiasm displayed equally by students and teachers. The day started with a special assembly presented by the talented teachers. Assembly started with the school prayer followed by the school song. The pledge was administered by Mr Narendra Bhandari (PGT Physical Education), Word of the day was introduced by Ms Rashmi Bhatt(TGT English), Thought of the day was presented by Ms Urmi Raina(TGT English), a set of sensibly humourous news was read out by Mr Manmohan Joshi (PGT Physics). Two very beautiful self-composed poems were recited by Ms Nisha Kandpal and Ms Smita Shah. A meticulously written speech was dispensed by Ms Smita Pant (PGT Computer Science). A group song was also performed. The choir group included a group of melodious teachers Mr Sanjay Goswami, Ms Aditi Joshi, Mr Mohit Pant, Mr Mukesh Tiwari, Ms Madhumita Das, Ms Smita Pant, Mr Robin Arya, Mr Manmohan Joshi, and various faculty members of junior and senior classes.
Many fun-filled sports activities were planned for the students which kept them high on energy throughout the day. The day concluded with a ‘Tug–of–War’ match between boys and teachers(Male) and girls and teachers(Female). Both the matches were easily won by students proving their physical strength. The winners were presented with school trophy by Principal Mr Anurag Mathur and Vice Principal Ms Mamta Taneja.
Then our Principal took the stage and inspired the young children with his words of wisdom.
