Description:
The school celebrated the French Film Festival by showing a French movie, "Un Cheval Sur le Balcon" to students of classes Iv to VIII on 3 November 2022.
It is a story of a 10-year-old boy who is bullied and teased all day long at school. Introverted and suffering from a slight autism, he struggles to make friends. One day, he meets a racehorse on the balcony of the building opposite his home. Thanks to this curious neighbor and friend, he will gradually be able to regain his self-confidence.
It's a 2012 released movie where children will not only heard simple French of A1-A2 level but could also connect themselves to the character and learn to be more compassionate.
The festival starting with an introduction of the movie given by French teacher, Ms Anushka. Post this, a quiz based on the movie will be held during their regular French classes.
The event was marked by the presence of Principal Mr Anurag Mathur, Vice Principal Ms Mamta Taneja and the respective subject teachers of these classes.
Everyone throughly enjoyed the movie.
