Description:
Inspiration Public School, Kathgodam, celebrated the 75th Independence Day of India with full zeal and fervour befitting the occasion. The school heads marked the occasion by taking every necessary precaution and following all guidelines of the prevailing pandemic.
The Chairperson Dr. Mrs. Geetika Balutia, Hon’ble Manager Mr. Deepak Balutia and Principal Mr. Sanjeev Stephen hoisted the tricolor and saluted the nation by singing the National Anthem. This was followed by a short speech by the Chairperson where she reminded the listeners of the sacredness of freedom and that one must do everything to ensure that it is not endangered. Dr. Geetika Balutia spread courage through her wisdom-words by adding that we should not be afraid of the challenges posed by the recent pandemic that it is just a passing phase and if we can be perseverant, we’re sure to sail through this crucial hours of our life smoothly.
The principal, Mr. Sanjeev Stephen in his speech stressed the importance of ‘feeling independent’ than just to ‘ be independent’. He also added that it is in the hands of the new generation to mould India into a better and safe place to live in.
Although the day couldn’t be celebrated like any other year because of the prevailing situation, the fervour still remained as the school saluted the nation with its heroes, martyrs and expressed patriotism through digital platform. Classwise virtual assembly was conducted that reminded the students of the struggle, bloodshed and sacrifices that our freedom fighters had undergone to give us an independent India and to follow the principles and footsteps of those eternal souls.
