Description:
Following road safety rules today is very important. It is of paramount importance that children learn formal road safety education in an educational environment. Road safety education plays an important role in shaping the attitudes and behaviour of children. The objective of this activity was to give students knowledge about traffic lights, safety rules and all road signals.
To guide our students from early years, "KNOW SAFETY-No pain , No safety know pain" activity was organised for the students of Nursery, LKG and UKG on 22 November. Practical demonstration about the basic rules was done. They were also briefed about general rules to be followed on the roads. Teachers became Road Safety educators and instructed students about the safety essential traffic signals, walking on zebra crossing, driving in lane and following traffic rules.
All students were very enthusiastic throughout the activity and enjoyed it a lot.
