‘Winter is not a season, it’s a celebration. It’s a time to gather golden moments, embark upon a joyful journey and enjoy every hour of leisure.’
Inspiration Public School organized a ‘Virtual Winter Carnival’ on 23rd Jan. 2021 for the children of standard I to V to celebrate childhood – the springtime of life.
The fest was a feast stacked with fun-filled and exciting games to suit every temperament. A variety of virtual game-stalls were displayed ranging from ‘Dumb Charades’ for the enthusiasts to ‘Let’s Go Shopping’ for the shopping freaks, ‘Sketch O’Mania’ for the amateur artists to ‘Brain Vaganza’ for the intellectuals and ‘Princess of Persia’ to take the children to the land of fairies.
Apart from enjoying the fun filled activities, the children also learnt some valuable and moral lessons through ‘The Puppet Show.’ It dealt with the theme of ‘Online –learning During Covid-19’ and highlighted the challenges faced by teachers in online- mode teaching. The puppeteers engrossed the tender hearts with their exceptional voice modulation and creative puppets. . The children thoroughly enjoyed watching a ‘classroom story’ unfolding before them and hence it became an instant hit as they could relate it to themselves quite easily.
Some fun-time was also reserved for the parents of these kids. ‘Online-Tambola’ stall was arranged for those who wanted to test their luck.
It was a blissful sight to witness those little students waiting eagerly for the results to be announced. An e-certificate was awarded to all the winners at the end of the funfair.
A great example of active participation, dedication, and coordination was set once again by the learned faculty of IPS family. The bright faces and happy smiles were ample proof that the Virtual Carnival was a grand success.
