Description:
The Inter-House Hindi Debate Competition for classes IX -XII was held at Inspiration Public School, Kathgodam on the 21st July 2023.
The debate emphatically aimed at helping our student to appreciate the ‘Pros and cons of the issue. The judges of this competition were Chairperson Dr. Geetika Balutia, Principal Mr. Anurag Mathur and Vice-Principal Ms. Mamta Taneja. Students from all the houses spoke in favour and against the given topic. Topic for classes IX-X was “बच्चों में नैतिक मूल्यों के पतन के लिए माता पिता ज़िम्मेदार हैं” and for classes XI-XII was “उत्तराखंड में बढ़ता धार्मिक पर्यटन हानिकारक है”. They came up with their perspective regarding the same. They cited reasons and supported them with suitable examples from real life, to justify their stand. Questions were put to all the debaters by the student interjectors. The first position was bagged by Yellow House in both junior as well as senior categories, Second position was bagged by Red House in junior and Green house and the third position was bagged by Blue house in both the categories. Individual prizes were given to Akshat Kharkwal, Paritosh Singh and Manas Sing Pachai in Senior category and Yukti Tiwari, Sagar Dayal Saxena, Prateeti Shah, Avneet Bhatt and Priyanshi Singh from junior category for their skillful performance.
